Operations
We ensure that business processes meet simplicity, effectiveness and efficiency criteria. We support our business colleagues by managing operating processes. We ensure the systems integration and security of all REVO information and data. We design and create the IT solutions the business needs. We select, organise and manage data sources and interpret them to develop analytical, predictive and artificial intelligence models. We manage suppliers, contracts, and purchases. We also do all of this in emergency and crisis situations, in order to safeguard business continuity.
Specialty Insurance Solutions
We define underwriting strategies, create products and assess and underwrite risks, engaging in dialogue with intermediaries. We set and update prices. We analyse business performance. We protect the Company’s balance sheet by making use of the reinsurance market. We manage claims and are responsible for relationships with fiduciaries. We manage the network of intermediaries, activating new mandates with agents and collaborative relationships with brokers.
Parametric Insurance Solutions
We create and develop the offering of parametric policies, in which compensation is managed automatically by the system when an event occurs. The event is recorded by a third party (oracle) and certified, including using blockchain technology. We identify new opportunities and structure products based on the data available to us, consistent with the development of the OVERX platform.
Finance Planning and Control
We take care of general and technical accounting, management of receivable and payable cash flows, and the closings and the process of the financial statements; we monitor premium collections, claims performance and settlements; we create reports that are also used to monitor the Business Plan; we ensure that investments are made according to strategic guidelines, which are defined after careful assessment of specific macroeconomic analyses and taking into account general market performance, and then approved by our Board of Directors.
Human Resources and Organization (HR)
We manage selection, onboarding, professional development, growth and training pathways, internal communication, compensation, incentives and rewards, complying with the guidelines we have designed and adopted, in line with the employment market benchmark. We are involved in the evolution of the organisation required to develop the business and the achievement of the goals in the Business Plan.
Legal and Corporate Affairs
We provide the business with legal, corporate, regulatory and contractual advice, as well as managing disputes. We organise and manage meetings of the Board of Directors, the internal Board Committees and Shareholders’ Meetings. We handle relations with the supervisory authorities.
Compliance
We monitor processes and procedures and issue policies to ensure the proper dissemination and enforcement of the requirements of the law and industry authorities. We continuously identify rules applicable to the Company and assess their impact on business processes. We assess the adequacy and effectiveness of organisational measures adopted to prevent the risks of non-compliance with the rules and propose organisational and procedural changes aimed at ensuring adequate control of risk.
Internal Audit
We provide independent assurance and advice to improve REVO’s effectiveness and efficiency. In particular, we optimise risk control, risk management and corporate governance processes.
Risk Management
We measure risk, determine how to manage it, control its exposure, identify any anomalies, assess its solvency and define limits and test them, in order to support management decision-making processes.
Actuarial
We are responsible for assessing the Company's technical provisions, methodologies and calculation models to ensure their reliability and adequacy with respect to the Company's business model. We detect any significant deviations between the actual figure and the best estimate, identify the causes and propose changes, where appropriate, to the assumptions and valuation model, and express an opinion on the overall underwriting policy and the adequacy of the reinsurance agreements. We help to create an effective risk management system, also by supporting the Risk Management Function.
