REVO Volo Protetto coverage is automatically activated as soon as data recorded by FlightAware—a company specialized in flight tracking— certifies that the insured event has occurred. Specifically, compensation is triggered in the event of a delay of more than three hours—whether at the final destination or during a layover—or if the flight is cancelled within 24 hours prior to the scheduled departure. Thanks to the parametric insurance mechanism, the payment is issued immediately, with no need to file a claim or submit any documentation. The entire process is managed via blockchain technology, ensuring transparency, security, and speed. The only action required from the user is to provide their bank details in order to receive the reimbursement.
