Digital Shipping: the future of transport

Gabriele Galanti, Head of Marine, took part as a speaker at the event “Digital transformation in freight transport. From the mandatory adoption of e-CMR in Spain to the evolution of the Italian model: regulatory, insurance and financial perspectives.”

The conference, organized by LCA Studio Legale in Milan, provided an opportunity to explore the regulatory and insurance aspects related to the sector’s digital transition, including new risk management models.

The event brought together industry professionals, companies, and associations to seize the opportunities offered by innovation—an area where REVO plays a pioneering role: we were the first to leverage blockchain technology to insure a shipment with an electronic consignment note (e-CMR), as part of a project developed together with Edge Broker and ACCUDIRE.
