Satispay and REVO join forces to protect businesses: a zero-bureaucracy collective insurance policy against catastrophic risks, in response to the new legal requirement.

- Satispay, acting as the policyholder, has entered into a collective insurance agreement with REVO to protect its merchants. The policy is automatically included in the annual Pro and Advanced plans of the Satispay Business Premium subscription service.

- The coverage meets the requirements of the 2024 Budget Law by combining traditional insurance protection with parametric guarantees, which trigger automatic indemnities upon the occurrence of the event.

- The initiative, designed to protect commercial fabric, is made possible by the breadth of the network, which has reached the milestone of 450,000 affiliated merchants.

- In addition to insurance protection, Premium plans include visibility and marketing tools to increase average transaction value and the number of transactions.

Milan, April 14, 2026 – To actively support the business ecosystem in addressing new regulatory challenges, Satispay today announces the inclusion of dedicated insurance coverage for businesses within its Satispay Business Premium subscription service. Through a strategic partnership with REVO Insurance – the first Italian insurer specialized in specialty risks and parametric solutions – the super app has taken out, as policyholder, a collective insurance policy against catastrophic events such as earthquakes, floods, landslides, inundations and overflows, for the benefit of its network of affiliated merchants.

The aim is to help small and medium-sized enterprises comply with the new obligation introduced by the 2024 Budget Law by offering a simple and immediate solution. The coverage designed by REVO Insurance is reserved for merchants with a single operating location and annual turnover of less than €5 million. It is included at no additional cost in the Business Premium subscription offering, available under the annual Pro and Advanced plans, and takes effect upon activation.

Among the key strengths of the REVO policy is the inclusion of parametric guarantees which, upon the occurrence of predefined objective parameters, enable the automatic payment of a €5,000 indemnity. This innovative approach allows for an immediate and simplified claims settlement, providing businesses with timely financial support to cover urgent expenses. The initiative, designed to protect the merchant community, has been made possible by the scale of a continuously expanding network, which today reaches the new milestone of 450,000 affiliated merchants.

The insurance policy therefore stands out as a distinctive element of the Pro and Advanced Business Premium plans, an ecosystem designed to support merchants’ business growth. On the customer acquisition side, the offering ensures targeted visibility through priority in-app placement with sponsored banners and monthly campaigns, capable of reaching up to 1,000 new potential consumers within the local area. These initiatives are complemented by loyalty drivers, such as the ability to activate multipliers (up to x30) on the standard Satispay Points accumulation.

The effectiveness of the Premium ecosystem is already reflected in the results of the pre-launch phase: for the 1,000 merchants already enrolled, the tools have generated growth of up to 8% in average transaction value and an increase of up to 6% in the number of transactions across corporate activities. The offering is completed by dedicated support and the Tips service – currently in a testing phase – which enables the digitalization of tips to better recognize staff contributions while eliminating friction at checkout.

Alberto Dalmasso, Co-Founder and CEO of Satispay, commented: “With the insurance obligation approaching, we knew that small merchants would be faced with unexpected costs and complex bureaucracy. For this reason, we decided to take out a collective insurance policy against catastrophic events with REVO, including it at no additional cost in the Pro and Advanced Business Premium subscription plans. Being able to offer a service like this is the result of the trust placed in us by a network that today exceeds 450,000 merchants. This scale allows us to build strategic p artnerships and return tangible value to the business ecosystem. For us, being a partner to those who run a business means exactly this. We have brought this vision to life with the launch of Business Premium plans, where we combine protection for SMEs— gua ranteed by the insurance policy—with practical, measurable tools designed to grow sales.”

Alberto Minali, CEO of REVO, added: “The collaboration with Satispay, one of the most relevant fintech platforms in Italy, stems from a shared vision: integrating insurance coverage within a digital ecosystem that is already used daily by hundreds of thousands of merchants, making access to protection easier and expanding its reach at scale. Through this partnership—currently focused on catastrophic coverage and potentially extendable to other products—we aim to make insurance protection more accessible, more tangible and more immediate for businesses.

With this initiative, REVO strengthens its position as an innovative player in the insurance sector, developing scalable solutions integrated into digital services, with the goal of more effectively addressing the evolving needs of the business community.
